Daily Skincare Routine For Dry Skin
1. Morning Routine
As soon as you get up, splash your face with cool water to refresh your skin. Then, using a moisturizing cleanser to cleanse any residues thoroughly. Choose a natural product with fewer chemicals. After cleansing, tone your skin. Try using a toner that is not drying. Rose-water would be a good option that you can try. Following the toner, use a moisturizer for hydration. Apply the moisturizer thoroughly then dab all over your skin until it gets completely absorbed. The next is to apply the sunscreen. If you are to go out, make sure to use SPF of 30 or more. Reapply every few hours. If you are striving for fabulous makeup look, it is best to use lighter products, such as tinted moisturizers, bb creams, cc creams, and concealers are good options. Ensure that they are moisturizing and not too matt to prevent any dry patches.
2. Day Routine
Just morning routine would not be enough. If you can, rub in some moisturizer all over your skin or at least on specific dry patches. Also, don't forget to moisturize your lips. Not just skincare products, but also remember to drink lots of water. If not water, consume liquids and foods that are a high water content. Eat food rich in vitamins. This will help your skin to stay firm, dewy, and moisturized throughout.
3. Night
Night routines are probably the most important skin care routine you would want to focus on. The maximum skin repair occurs during your sleep. The more you spend on nighttime skincare, your skin will be able to heal more quickly. Start with rinsing your face with an oil-based cleanser to remove any leftover makeup. Then use a water-based cleanser to thoroughly cleanse off the residues. Follow up with toning and moisturizing. You can go with thicker nourishing night cream to keep your skin super moisturized throughout the night. Exfoliation and sheet masking at least once a week is highly recommended.
